Well, here I am giving birth yet again...

I don't see myself particualrly as a Mother Earth type, but oh!...The need to create...a fertile and safe place for ideas ranging from the practical to the idealistic.   A forum for the things we all share as well as the core elements that define us as individuals...

Yes, I am a mom (about 75 combined parenting years) and have been through a lot.

I have also been a wife (who refuses to use the term "husband" [as in "animal husbandry"]). And please note the phrase "have been".

I have interests in film, antiques, art, books, social science, religion and politics, as well as a keen interest in finding humor in everyday situations. 

So...let the adventure begin!
